My sister made these for me to give my friend at Christmas. The photos don't do the work justice. They are truly beautiful pieces of jewellery.

This is for my friend Han for her old blog http://www.hanscraftycreations.blogspot.com/ and new one started yesterday, which will be just as good, if not better.
Children & Teenagers Cancer Appeal
I know I keep on about it but..... Please donate to the Royal Marsdens Cancer Campaign for Children and Teenagers. http://www.royalmarsden.org/Campaign/Appeals/ChildrenTeensAppeal.htm
My son Tim would not be here today if it wasn't for that fab hospital. It's brilliant as it is but badly in need of modernising and making bigger, which they hope to do with this new campaign. (see my previous posts in Sept/Oct).
Or you can donate through my justgiving widget on my blog on the right hand side.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign
Hi all. This goes out to everyone but this will especially touch the hearts of parents...
I just wanted to let you know about a fab new campaign by the Royal Marsden Hospital. They need to raise £15million to update the Children's Unit to become a new Children's and Teenage Cancer Centre in Sutton to be ready by 2010. This is to meet the 35% increase in children and teenagers diagnosed with cancer and treated at this fab hospital. They've had a 35% increase - can you believe that? That's a terrible statistic.
I know from personal experience how fab it is but also how badly in need of updating it is. My son Tim was treated in the Children's Unit there in 2002 aged 7. It's as simple as this. He would not be here today if it had not been for that hospital. I still get choked up thinking about it. I got a letter today in the post from a current teenage girl patient asking me to support the campagin. It felt like a kick in the stomach. It still touches a nerve even now.
I am having a stall at a local church fair at the end of November and am donating the money raised from selling my cards to this campaign. I'm also not sending Christmas cards to family & friends this year and donating the money instead. If anyone would like to help out with this fundraising please let me know.
Please visit their website http://www.royalmarsden.org/Campaign/Appeals/ChildrenTeensAppeal.htm or click on my "justgiving" icon on the right to donate. Every penny will be well spent. We all know someone who's been affected by cancer. Help the Royal Marsden make a difference to someone's life. It really does help people survive.
My son is fine now and he's 14. Thanks to the Marsden I still have him. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Julie's birthday card
I made this card for a colleague's birthday. I used the brilliant Funkys Garden papers that I won on the Funky Fairys Challenge Blog last week http://www.funkyfairychallenge.blogspot.com/ - thanks Shaz and co!! I also used the beautiful flowers I bought from Poppicraft http://www.poppicrafts.co.uk/ - excellent service thanks very much.
It took a while to get a decent picture, obviously trying to take one at night is not a good idea. The light is better this morning..... Sorry for the delay in posting the picture. Hope you like the card.
